Bring the Junk From Your Trunk Parties
For Adults & Teens

Contact Us to create a "Bring the Junk From Your Trunk Party". We will work with a minimum of 5 guests and up to 8 guests. Or we can use some of our connections for spaces for a small rental fee. Parties start at $30 per person for 2 1/2 hours. You supply the found art, broken jewelry etc. We supply the chains, beads, charms, findings and clasps for your personal wearable work of art.  Add your own refreshments or potluck snacks to increase the fun of the evening or afternoon. You will learn simple jewelry making technique, using tools and how to design your own treasure!!! Its a great " Girls Night Out/or In" Party.  Teens are welcome 14 and older. Due to small parts not recommended for younger children.

I have made many customers happy with original one of a kind and personal jewelry designs from their own objects or from ideas that they have brought to me. I love hearing stories about the objects given and what they mean to the owner. In their story telling I get to weave more items into that story. A customer came to see me with some metal wings and a Tibetan bell. I was able to pull together her story of time with her mother taking the bus to Downtown Bridgeport when she was a young girl. I learned how much she loved those trips with her mom. I was able to locate a piece to start as a base and add her items and then added a 1950s bus token from the Grey line in Bridgeport. I enjoy creating intuitive pieces based on the stories told. I had the great pleasure of managing and staging the City Lights Vintage Shop location at 265 Golden Hill St. Downtown Bridgeport Next to the Cabaret Theater. Proceeds from Sales in part helped to fund the City Lights Gallery, Community arts programs,  events. Serving the Youth and adults of Bridgeport in arts education and community celebration.
